Nick and Julian met at Bath Academy of Art. After graduating
they went their separate ways – Julian into the heady world of advertising
and Nick into a traditional graphic design and art direction studio in London.
After 4+ years of absorbing all they could they started HarrimanSteel in 1999
– no premises, no work, no clients, just a bold vision of what an agency should be.
The vision was to marry the ideas and ambition of advertising
with the craft and nuances of design to create
the most effective communications
and experiences for our clients and consumers.
