Visa is on a journey to inspire and accelerate sustainable consumption around the world. Through a programme of tailored partner solutions, it aims to support banks on their own journeys to offer more sustainable solutions for their customers.
Last year, HarrimanSteel was invited to work with Visa’s new Sustainability Solutions team. We were asked to help them define a narrative and strategic approach for their 'Eco Bundle' (a package of different services supporting bank offerings to cardholders that would increase their awareness of the carbon related to their purchases). We did the same for one of the partners within this bundle – ecolytiq (a climate engagement provider, that empowers bank customers to reduce their individual environmental impact).
Our job was to help Visa take their strong, data-led approach and make the leap to a green, authentic, purposeful and emotional narrative that would resonate with banks keen to begin their sustainability journey, and the citizens who demand it of them.
